Euracon organises CBI participation at Euromold;

For the third time the Centre for the promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (Dutch abbreviation is CBI; www.cbi.eu) will be present at Euromold. This time the theme is ‘old and new’. An ‘old’ generation of successful exporters has been trained by CBI in the last five years. The sector experts will be present with all necessary information on these fully qualified, experienced and reliable exporters.
At the same time a group of 13 mould and tooling manufacturers has just entered a new export coaching programme of CBI. 13 exporters from India, South Africa and the Philippines successfully passed the CBI export audits and now enter the programme. Information on both the ‘old’, as well as the ‘new’ participants is available, an excellent matchmaking opportunity.

Bosnian 3D tool design, scanning, printing and CNC programming
The CBI stall will have a Bosnian flavour this year. With pride CBI presents the MTTC Center for Advanced Technologies. MTTC is a cluster formed by 7 Bosnian companies with a vision. They teamed up to offer an range of services that can indeed be called ‘advanced’.
They will be presenting their 3D tool modeling design services. With these services they offer tool design, testing and modifying before the actual manufacture takes place.
After delivering 3D design code generation for CNC machines through utilization of CAMWorks 2008 software is provided.
More information can be found at Euromold on the CBI stall (Hall 9, Stand D07), but also on the website: http://www.mttc.ba/about.html.

CBI
The CBI-trained companies include several of the most promising mould and die makers from India and other countries. They are well-educated and skilled, yet benefit from the cheap labour markets of the region. Information on several manufacturers proficient in design, product development, prototypes, production and service will be available – together – at a single stand. The CBI Pavilion is the place to begin successful relationships with all of these very qualified companies. Company representatives and CBI coaching consultants will help you make the right match to your requirements.

Over the past 40 years, thousands of exporters from developing countries have found their way to Europe through CBI’s extensive programmes in export management, quality, reliability and the requirements necessary to succeed in the European marketplace. We welcome you to the CBI Pavilion to discuss your requirements.

You can find the CBI Pavilion in Hall 9, Stand D07. In case you are not able to visit, but would like to receive an overview of all ‘old’ and ‘new’ participants, please contact the CBI programme manager, Mr. Cor Dieleman (cdieleman@cbi.eu, phone: +31 10 2013423 or fax; +31 10 4114081) and ask him for the ‘mould and tooling company matrix’.

India’s no. 2 Industry Show approaching

Rotterdam (Netherlands); 28 September 2009; Figures do not lie. The first edition in 1997 was visited by 23000 people. The last edition in 2008 was visited by 126000 people, making it India’s number 2 industry show.
From 7 – 11 January 2010, the University Ground in Ahmedabad (Gujarat, India) will be the scene of the 9th Engimach show. According to the organizers it is ‘Asia’s most dynamic Engineering, Machinery and Machine Tool show’.

India and Gujarat Province
India currently ranks 19th worldwide in production and 16th in consumption of machine tools. In both rankings India is likely to move up in the years to come. Exports have been on the rise; imports have seen phenomenal growth too. In just a short span since 2004-05 to 2006-07, the imports have grown from EUR 255 Million to almost EUR 400 Million. More and more multinationals are setting up their production units in India. Others outsource production to India. The sector in India is set to witness an exponential growth in the years to come.

Gujarat, by many described as the most active province, contributes to over 8% of India’s total engineering output. Major engineering clusters in Gujarat include foundry, shipping, induction furnace industry, machine tools, and auto components. Fast growing markets in Gujarat attract much new investment, especially in the engineering sectors.

One show for all
Together with the Engimach exhibitions a number of ‘co-exhibitions’ will be held at the same time on the same venue.
- Construction World is the place to be for professionals in the fields of Construction, Earth Moving and Material Handling Technology.
- Fluid Power is the ideal platform for companies in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Valves, Automation & moving mechanisms, Compressors, Shock Absorbers, Suspension Devices, Self Operating Arms etc.
- Companies in energy production, power plants, but also in power transmission are best served in the Energy World exhibition.

From Russia, with ...... Food

Moscow is the heart of Russia. From 12 – 16 October it will also be the heart of the Russian Food Processing Industry. Agroprodmash, the largest exhibition of its kind in Eastern Europe is held at those dates at the Expocentre in Moscow.

The Russian food and processing industry has a great demand for innovative technologies and modern equipment. Agroprodmash is a unique (and in our opinion the best) opportunity to make use of this trend.

There is still the possibility to book a stall at this exhibition. According to Jan Kampstra, operational manager of CFS Lifecycle Performance, the only way to be a player in the Russian market, click the link; http://www.agriworld.nl/public/file/pdf/20081218-34_mea_agroprodmash.pdf  to read more.

We hope to meet you in Moscow. Click here for more information and application forms >>>
